The perfect family backyard can look different for everyone. Our clients each have a unique set of needs and desires. This project brought forth the features that turned this yard into the entertainment and relaxation space that was truly needed for this family. Since the existing dilapidated deck wasn’t safe or functional, the decking was removed and the footings and framework were updated and strengthened. New composite decking in ArmourGuard Cape Cod Gray and ArmourGuard railing allowed for a more comfortable surface that will better withstand time and the elements. Nicolock Stone Ridge Pavers in Westchester blend with a Charcoal Rustico border were added around the pool with bullnose and a dive rock addition as well as lighting to give a more complete look. The existing pergola was reconditioned and updated in conjunction with the new paver placement. An outdoor shower with hot and cold water gives this yard another little slice of that “getaway” feel as does establishing a perfectly shady spot to enjoy watching the children play. Their “make yourself at home” backyard is complete.
