An opportunity to continue building upon a client’s backyard dreams is always a pleasure. Several years ago, we helped these clients reimagine their pool area, creating a deck for their above ground pool that gave them space to relax and ease when entering the pool. The lasting power of this design and composite decking were nicely accentuated this year by the addition of a pergola. These homeowners wanted to enjoy their extra time at home with a tranquil and shaded spot. The lattice and trim detailing added to the top allowed for some shade while also letting in beautiful light. While the sun shifts, shadows create intricate patterns on the pavers. The handcrafted color of the pergola was carefully selected to match the decking giving a more authentic feel. Oversized fiberglass columns cut into the pavers complete the look with an effortless elegance that makes this a perfect backyard retreat!
