Long Island Nursery Plants Characteristics – this small deciduous, upright oval to rounded tree is noted for its peeling cinnamon to reddish brown bark. This is a nice winter interest, foliage is dark green but then turns red in fall. Tree is a slow grower 6”-12” per year, grows average of 20’-30’ tall.
