	Characteristics – dark green ribbon like foliage grows 12’-18” high then falls over toward the ground to form a clump. Produces a spike of small purple flowers. Other variety is 'Big Blue’ – which has white on the edges of the foliage
	Light – full sun to part shade
	Moisture – prefers well drained soils, dry to medium moisture
	Bloom Time– August through September for flowers, foliage is all year
	Very hardy, great for shady slopes and outlining beds and borders
