	Characteristics – attractive foliage that grows in mounds of overlapping leaves. Choose from varieties that differ in foliage color, markings and flower color. Produces 3’-5’ tall spikes of fragrant flowers. Some varieties are ‘Frances Williams’, ‘Big Daddy’, ‘Blue Cadet’ and ‘Golden Tiara’
	Light – part shade to full shade
	Moisture – prefers well drained soil, normal watering
	Bloom Time– June through September for flowers
	Divide when they get to big, great for under trees and shade areas
