Juniperus-Blue-Star

Blue Star Juniper - this is a great addition to any bed. With its lovely blue color and its dwarf rounded form, these shrubs are the forefront of any bed especially in the winter time. These are evergreens so they will keep there leaves and color throughout the year. The blue color always looks fantastic when paired with either Daylily's or Nepeta.

'Pee Gee' Hydrangea Tree - this magnificent tree form of hydrangea has showy blooms in summer that start off an ivory white that turn to a pinkish color in fall, then turning to a warm wheat color by winter. The branches arc gracefully from the weight of the flower heads. Definitely a specimen you want in your landscape.

Variegated Maiden Grass - the variegated maiden grass is once again one of my favorites, with delicate clumps of fine textured foliage in a rounded form and a silver white stripe in the middle of the leaf blade is what gives this plant its characteristics. It also produces reddish plumes in late fall which makes for great winter interest.

They produce green broccoli like buds in mid summer, which open into lovely pink flower heads, then deepening to a rich bronze color. Even the dead flower heads add winter interest.
