What is asphalt? Nothing more than 3/8" gravel, sand and tar. We recommend you seal your driveway every 1 to 2 years to keep the elements out. Basics Landscaping of Long Island only uses the finest quality Velvetop driveway sealer, not the watered down premixed “spray on” tar in large truck containers others in the industry use. We use hand rollers for a thicker more even application, with a neat and clean look guaranteed every time. Never again will you have to worry about coming home to stains on your Belgium block, interlocking pavers or other prized possessions. Before the sealing process begins, our staff will take the necessary time in making sure the area is clean and no potentially problematic cracks or holes exist.
