FAQ's Seed & Sod
Every lawn is different, and your sales representative or foreman should have set your Irrigation system to a good starting time, and explained the 5-minute rule on adjusting the water. Please remember when checking your lawn check all areas of the lawn a zone covers with the “feel test” to make sure you do not over or under water the area. Always wait a few days between checks and never change a zone by more than 5 minutes to see how that area adjusts.
In most cases Sod can be cut as soon as a week, you should never let sod go more than 10 days before first cut. To make sure sod is ready to be cut, pull on it, if it feels like it is starting to root then cut carefully.
With the proper water, light, maintenance and chemical program all seed planted by us will look like sod within 1 full year.
