Usually within 12 hours your cement is cured enough to get wet.  Sometimes on really hot days within a few hours it’s actually a good idea to lightly spray your cement with water as you might see your installers doing so.  This helps cement to keep cooler while the drying process occurs and this may help prevent the cement from cracking.
